Condition WORX (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates conditionworx.com and the discovery survey linked from it. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
We are a small, early-stage company. We collect very little, we do not sell anything we collect, and we do not run advertising.

What we collect
Information you give us
- Survey responses. Answers to our discovery survey about industrial maintenance practice — role, site size, downtime experience, and the systems you use.
- Email address, if you choose to give one to receive results or to indicate interest in a conversation. This is optional; the survey can be completed without it.
- Anything you send us by email or through a contact form.
Information collected automatically
- Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps, referring page. Held briefly, used to keep the site working and secure.
- Essential cookies only. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that build profiles across sites. If that ever changes, this policy changes first and we will say so.
What we do not collect
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. We do not collect payment details — we have nothing to sell. We do not buy contact data from third parties.
Why we collect it
- To understand how maintenance and reliability teams work, so we build something worth having
- To send you aggregate survey results, if you asked for them
- To follow up about a conversation, if you indicated you were open to one
- To operate and secure the website
- To meet legal obligations
Where the law requires a legal basis, ours is consent for survey participation and email contact, and legitimate interests for operating and securing the site.
How we use survey responses
Survey data is used in aggregate. When we publish or share findings, individual responses are not identified, and we do not attribute answers to a named person or employer. If we ever want to quote you directly, we will ask first.
Your email address is kept separate from your survey answers where practical and is used only for the purposes above.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Ever.
We share it only with service providers who help us operate — currently a form and spreadsheet provider (Google), an email provider, and web hosting. They process data on our instructions and for no other purpose.
We may also disclose information where legally required, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
If the business is ever acquired or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction. If that happens, we will say so here before it takes effect.
Where it is held
We operate in the United States and information is processed there. If you are outside the US, submitting information means it is transferred to the US, where privacy law differs from your own.
How long we keep it
- Survey responses: up to 3 years, then deleted or fully anonymized
- Email addresses: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete, and no more than 3 years after our last contact
- Server logs: up to 90 days
Your rights
Whoever and wherever you are, you may ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct it
- Delete it
- Stop emailing you
- Give you a copy in a portable format
Email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
If you are in California, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, so there is nothing to opt out of — but the other rights apply and the email above is how to use them.
If you are in the EEA or UK, the GDPR gives you the rights listed above plus the right to object to processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your supervisory authority.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — encryption in transit, access limited to those who need it, and reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information you already gave us, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you directly.
